Located in the stunning Dolomites, Lum d’Or combines modern architecture with natural beauty. This luxury chalet in Selva di Val Gardena blends seamlessly into the mountain landscape. Frameless windows let in natural light and offer breathtaking views. The name “Lum d’Or,” which means “Golden Light,” reflects the chalet’s goal of celebrating the beauty of the Dolomites with airy, bright spaces.
Materials and Finishes
The design focuses on authenticity and sustainability. It uses local wood and stone to create a connection with the outdoors. These materials ensure both durability and beauty, while also minimizing environmental impact.
Interconnected Spaces and Functionality
Lum d’Or can comfortably host 6-8 guests. The layout balances shared areas with private rooms. On the first floor, four bedrooms each have a private bathroom and open to a garden, providing privacy and outdoor access. The second floor features an open living area with a fireplace, kitchen, and terrace, creating a smooth flow between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Wellness and Integrated Technology
The lower level is a private wellness retreat, complete with a sauna, hot tub, and heated outdoor pool. There is also a gym and storage for bikes and ski equipment. The underground garage has five parking spaces, three of which include EV chargers, enhancing convenience and sustainability.
