salvagnini america
Italian architectural firm traverso-vighy designed the expansion of Salvagnini America’s offices in the city of Hamilton, Ohio.
The main space is taken by the Showroom, which becomes home for demo procedures and clients visits, while the smaller spaces are mainly offices, meeting and training rooms. The whole building relies on wood’s construcion techniques and all the components of the construction, specially developed and designed, have been prefabricated and assembled at the site with mechanical joints. The design is similar to that of an industrial product, where control of implementation quality, construction timing and end-of-life reversibility are guaranteed. Architecture “4.0” – or, more simply, architecture.
